Happy Halloween! PvP Is Open, and November Rewards Begin Tonight

Happy Halloween! Before October wraps up, I wanted to share what’s new and what we have planned for November.

PvP testing is now open to everyone with a verified account. You no longer need to be a beta tester to challenge another collector.

Head into the War Room, choose Player vs Player, and join the lobby. You can chat, see who’s available, and send challenges directly. Incoming challenges have Accept and Decline controls, and you can choose your own eligible deck or one of our official regular decks. Overlord and Dragon Lord decks aren’t available for PvP.

Matches use the same War Room you already know, with private hands, player-controlled Reacts, and rematches. Visible decision timers help keep games moving, with protection during maintenance and detected server outages.

Eligible matches award 2 gold for a win and 1 for a loss, plus a 3-gold first-win bonus, up to 20 PvP gold per day. PvP is still in testing, so please keep reporting anything that seems wrong. A downloaded game log helps me track down what happened.

Starting November 1 at midnight Eastern—tonight—we’re kicking off Feast of the Accordlands!

Throughout November, eligible completed PvE and PvP battles will contribute to shared community milestones:

Complete three eligible battles during November to qualify. If you qualify after a milestone has already unlocked, you’ll still receive that reward. Event gold is separate from the daily PvP cap, so reaching all three goals means 50 bonus gold alongside the cosmetics.

Surrendered, timed-out, abandoned, and test matches don’t count. Once the event opens, Tools → November Rewards will show your participation and our community progress. You’ll also receive in-site notifications when milestones unlock and your rewards arrive.

I also want to give a huge thank-you to our beta testers. Every game log, screenshot, recording, rules question, and bug report has helped make this site better. You’ve been patient through a lot of fixes and changes, and I really appreciate the time you’ve put into helping build this community.
