Improve one non-spell ranged strike before choosing its target.

Rule explanation
Limited React: Before this Character targets a non-spell ranged strike, make a DC 20 Marksmanship check. On success, choose one: the strike may target an additional rank away, gain +5 to the strike roll, or inflict one additional wound.

Example
Before selecting the target of a bow-generated ranged strike, pass Marksmanship and choose the extra rank to reach a target three ranks away.
Watch for this
Common mistake
Marksmanship happens before targeting, not merely before rolling. It does not apply to a ranged strike produced by a spell.
