Know your controls before you play
1. Hand & battlefield
Your hand holds cards you can play. Inspect cards before choosing. Blue highlights mark legal selections; check the source and recipient before committing. Back changes an uncommitted selection—it does not undo a resolved action.
2. Priority & Reacts
Watch the phase and priority labels, not just whose army is on screen. A React window can interrupt an Order. Use an eligible React or pass; passing a React is different from passing your Order priority.
3. What happened?
Use the Feed to review actions and rolls. Dice shows the roll presentation; Rules opens the timing reference. Fit battle and Center battle help restore your board view. Forced resolution advances automatically; genuine choices still need you.
4. Pick a comfortable first match
Open the War Room and choose an ordinary playable deck and opponent. Leave the Overlord and Dragon Lord for later. Full matches use normal dice and existing play-access rules; tutorial completion does not bypass those rules or grant rewards.
Two clear routes
Beginner practice · no rewards Open the War Room
Beginner practice is public and isolated from your account statistics. Opening the War Room takes you to its normal lobby; it does not start or spend a boss challenge.
