Discard pile
Killed, discarded, and destroyed cards normally go to their owner’s public discard pile.
How it works
Full rule
Discard piles are not in play and are visible to all players. An instruction to discard a card means discard it from hand unless the instruction identifies another zone.
At the table
Example
An effect that retrieves a Character from your discard pile can select among visible legal Character cards there.
Watch for this
Common mistake
Cards in the discard pile do not keep wounds, counters, attachments, or ongoing effects they had in play.
