Multiclass cards
A multiclass Character has all its classes at once; a multiclass Item or Action normally requires only one matching class.
How it works
Rule explanation
A card with more than one class is all those classes simultaneously. A Fighter/Wizard can qualify for both Fighter and Wizard cards, subject to other requirements. When an Item or Action lists multiple class restrictions, matching one of those classes is sufficient; level, trait, and other restrictions still apply. Older printed class declarations are treated as class symbols, not a removable textbox ability. Permission to act regardless of a requirement does not grant that class or trait. Permission to act as if possessing a trait adds that trait for the costs and effects of that action.

Example
A Fighter can perform a Fighter/Wizard Action if its other requirements are met. Because the Action has the Wizard class, it is a spell even when the performer is only a Fighter.

Common mistake
A Fighter/Wizard does not have to choose one class for each turn. Ignoring a Rogue requirement does not activate an additional effect that specifically requires the performer to be a Rogue.
