I rolled out a large collection of community, profile, messaging, forum, and collector-tool improvements over the weekend and Monday. Here’s what collectors need to know.
Friends and profiles
The old Following system has been completely replaced by mutual Friends.
- Send, accept, decline, cancel, and remove Friend requests.
- Search for collectors and receive privacy-safe Friend suggestions.
- Favorite Friends and add private personal notes.
- View shared activity from your Friends.
- Control Friend requests, Friend-list visibility, and related notifications.
- Blocking someone removes any existing or pending friendship.
Profiles and public collector pages have also been redesigned with clearer identity settings, Signature Cards, collection progress, badges, achievements, recent activity, privacy controls, and improved mobile layouts.
Dashboard
The redesigned dashboard now includes:
- A unified Action Center for unread messages, Friend requests, Forum alerts, bounties, and other items requiring attention.
- Continue Your Work shortcuts for decks, saved card searches, and proxy sheets.
- A clearer Archive Progress summary.
- Community activity, achievements, and faster navigation to important features.
Accordlands Courier
The private messaging system received a major expansion.
- Primary, Friends, Groups, Sent, and Archived inboxes.
- Conversation search and clearer unread indicators.
- Private group conversations with membership controls.
- Image attachments, quoted replies, saved drafts, and live delivery.
- Sent and Read indicators.
- Archive, mute, block, and report controls.
- The option to disable new private conversations. Staff can still contact you about account support or moderation matters.
Routine community and site activity will no longer generate email. Those notices now remain in your site inbox and Notification Center. Email is reserved for account verification, password resets, and account unlocks.
Notification Center
Notifications now bring together:
- Courier arrivals
- Friend requests
- Forum activity
- Bounty updates
- Responses requiring action
- Relevant moderation notices
New filters and the Action Required view help separate important requests from informational updates.
Forums
The Warlord Forums received a complete redesign and a much more capable editor.
New writing features include:
- Write and Preview tabs
- Saved drafts
- Formatting controls and keyboard shortcuts
- Spoiler tags
- Multi-quote replies
- Images with alternative text and captions
- Tables, checklists, and strikethrough
- Emoji, collector mentions, card links, and deck links
- Word counts, reading-time estimates, and Focus mode
- First-unread and adjacent-topic navigation
- Improved mobile posting and reply controls
A new Updates category is now available for official site and community announcements. Everyone can read it, while only staff can create posts there.
Deck Builder and collector tools
- Card artwork in the Deck Builder library can now be opened in a large viewer for easier reading.
- Card viewers can be closed with the close button, by clicking outside the card, or with Escape.
- The collector directory and collection summaries should load faster.
Game Lab
Game Lab is still in private development and is not yet open to the public. Work continues on its rules engine, battlefield interface, card interactions, animations, and overall play experience.
