What rule am I learning?
During the Order phase, normally play a Character from hand into the rank equal to its level. Each rear rank needs at least as many characters in the rank immediately ahead. Three characters in rank 1 can support three in rank 2, but not a fourth.
This Dwarven Forges recruit matches Memoriam, so it enters ready. Off-faction characters normally enter stunned; Mercenary Guild characters are exempt from that loyalty penalty. Playing a character does not spend another character.

Starting-army placements remain local until you check them; refreshing clears those unsubmitted placements. Completed exercises resume in this browser session for up to 24 hours.
